Data Analyst
mvfinance is an international financial group with more than 3,000 employees, bringing together companies specializing in consumer lending in Eastern and Southern Europe and Southeast Asia.
From the very beginning, the non-bank lending business has been growing at a rapid pace. During the first eight years of the financial group’s history, offices have been opened throughout Bulgaria, as well as in Romania, Macedonia, and Spain. Today, the company operates in 7 countries: Bulgaria, Spain, Romania, Moldova, Bosnia, North Macedonia, and the Philippines.
As we plan further domestic and international expansion, we are looking for a full-time Data Analyst to join our analytical team at the company's headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Responsibilities:
- Collects, cleans, aggregates, and interprets data from various sources;
- Assists in the analysis of data generated by all departments of the company;
- Provides regular and ad hoc analytical reporting to management;
- Executes credit portfolio analysis and risk modelling;
- Develops, monitors and updates credit scoring models;
- Analyses client payment behavior both for collection and sales purposes.
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel;
- Ability to work with R, Python or other statistical software;
- Ability to make SQL queries is a plus;
- Experience in developing scoring models is a plus;
- General knowledge of English;
- Strong desire to learn new analytical skills and techniques.
